Nance Van Winckel's sixth book of poetry is Pacific Walkers, (University  of Washington Press). She's also the author of four books of short stories. She's received two National Endowment for the Arts Poetry Fellowships and awards from the Poetry Society of America, Poetry Magazine, and Prairie Schooner. Her photo-collages, which incorporate small bits of text, have been published in a number of literary journals and have appeared in gallery shows in the Durango Arts Center Gallery, the Northwest Arts Center, the Robert Graves Gallery, Studio 107 (Coeur d'Alene, Id), and in her hometown of Spokane, Washington at The Museum of Arts and Culture and the Chase Gallery.
